I want to help people be found. I like to work with business owners to help them find their target audience and get the business in front of those potential customers

The only thing over which you have absolute control is helping others.
That’s my passion. That’s my mission.
That’s what makes me happy and makes me feel like I’ve made a difference.
I like to educate. I like to assist. I like to collaborate.
My goal is help your business grow. It’s not about selling you something. It’s about finding a problem and collaborating to find solutions. It’s about brainstorming. Yes, two heads – or even three or four – are better than one. I’m always coming up with ideas and searching for that “ah ha” moment.
I work hard – too hard, say friends, family, my manager and many of my clients. But I do it to serve my clients.
I’ve been a writer, reporter, editor and lawyer. I try to target bad writing. And I try to help clients communicate better with potential customers.
I know running a business can be the must fun and rewarding professional experience you’ll ever have. It can also be the hardest work you ever do. I know because I started and ran a group of community newspapers for nearly a decade. That helps me understand what small business owners are going through – because I’ve been there. I’ve done that. And, yes, I’ve got the t-shirt. (We had them made for our weekly newspaper).
Marketing and customer service are a collaborative art. If the customer doesn’t participate, it won’t work. The customer is the expert in her business. I’m the guy looking in from the outside to try to make it better.
About me: I’m more interested in how something will help a client rather than how many dollars it will put in my pocket.
I’m also passionate about food, movies, the arts, trying new things and exploring new places. I love plays, books, magazines, and newspapers (yes, I’m old school and I read them in print, on my computer and on my phone).
Family is vital. I spoke to my parents daily and I’m in regular contact with my sister and her sons. We always end our conversations with “love you” because we don’t know if it will be our last. My pets are dust bunnies.
